HOW TO APPLY FOR RCMC

Mandatory Filing/Issuance of Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) through the DGFT Common Digital Platform

To facilitate electronic issuance/renewal/amendment of Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) with Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has implemented the Common Digital Platform. The objective of this platform is to provide an electronic, contactless, & single-window system for RCMC related process. The applicants will need to register on DGFT website https://www.dgft.gov.in as Importer/Exporter to access the Common Digital Platform.

Before applying for e- RCMC, kindly ensure that the Import Export Code (IEC) is updated / linked with DGFT portal.

THE STEPS TO APPLY FOR THE ISSUANCE OF RCMC WITH EPCMD ON THE DGFT WEBSITE ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. Navigate to https://www.dgft.gov.in

2. Click on the Login button on top right corner of the webpage

3. Enter the Username, Password and CAPTCHA Code and click on Login

4. Navigate to Services > e-RCMC > Apply for e-RCMC

5. Click on Start Fresh Application. If you wish to proceed with the draft application, click on Proceed with Existing Application.

6. A dashboard with the username will be displayed

7. The system would ask the applicant for declaration on whether he/she has updated profile

8. Click on the Radio button, then click Yes to make sure you have updated the profile and press Save & Next

9. Now under RCMC Details section, the applicant will need to

  Select Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices and Fee Details

  Select Export Products and click the Add button to save the details

  Select Authorized Representatives / Department Heads / Contact Persons for the Councils & click on the Add Details button to save the details

  Select Other Information, under this select the countries to which the company is exporting and click on Save & Next

10. After filling out all the details, the applicant should proceed to attach documents under Attachments Section by selecting the documents from Computer folder and then clicking on Upload Attachments and finally pressing Save & Next

11. Now under the Declaration section, read all the content

12. Click the checkbox as acceptance of declaration and Enter the Place and then Save & Next

13. The system would show the filled application along with the uploaded documents under Application Summary. The applicant should go ahead with the signing process by clicking the Sign button

14. After finishing, click Payment for RCMC

15. Now the applicant will be directed to the payment gateway

16. By Clicking on Submit, the applicant will see the Payment Response Page with Transaction ID. Again, click Submit

17. After successful payment, the applicant will receive an e-payment receipt
